Martina Lauchengco
Principal, The Mavin Group

Martina's multi-disciplinary approach pulls from 15 years of experience in executive positions in product marketing, corporate marketing, consumer portal businesses, and as a chief-of-staff to the CEO at companies including Microsoft, Netscape, AOL, and Loudcloud/Opsware.

Martina began her career as a Product Manager for Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office back when no one had hear of the later, and Word only had 50% market share. She left to join Netscape in its early days, doing first product marketing for the Netscape Browser and eventually leading the product management teams defining Netscape's client applications. Eventually, she led Netscape's Netcenter consumer channels business. Martina then followed several executives, including Netscape co-founder Marc Andreessen to Loudcloud/Opsware (recently acquired by HP) where she led the marketing team prior to becoming the CEO's Chief-of-Staff.

Martina is also a partner with the Silicon Valley Product Group, where she leads the marketing practice.

She earned her M.A. in Organizational Behavior and B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University.
